Anyone done any of the wiring changes suggested in this thread from the Rickenbacker corporate forum ?

that is similar to some hofner circuits from mid 60's. full tone = single coil bridge pickup. it is neat solution that doesn't change the looks.

I've not tried this, but it sounds easy and appealing.

Also, reading further down the post, I like the idea of the blend (or pan) pot as well. That's one I've thought about before.

I think I'll give it a go.

When I still had the HB's on my former 650 I used 500k pots. It helped brighten up the guitar due to less high freq. bleed off.
