That's what I tought to!!
Re: Rickenbacker at Willie's guitar
Wouldn't a 1983 360 have a TRC that said "Model 360" on the bottom? I had both a 1983 320 and a 1983 620 and they each had TRCs with the model number on the bottom. They also Grover square case tuning machines not Schallers like the 360 at Willies.
Re: Rickenbacker at Willie's guitar
From my experience, WG's new Ric prices weren't that hot. Unfamiliar with their used guitar pricing. Just my dos centavos' worth. Late.....Goofyfoot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

Here's waht he answer about the 360/12:
Hello Claude:
The finish in the heel area and the horn flaked off. Likely a finish problem
at the factory. The wood is ok. The frets are in good shape. The action is
kind of high and the neck isn't completely straight. The electronics are in
good working order.
I just got in a 2004 360-12 in Montezuma Brown and a 1995 360-12 that are in
much better shape. We do have a return privilege but you would be
responsible for shipping costs. $125 should cover insurance if shipped by
USPS. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Bought from them several years back, an OM-42 Martin. If you're contemplating a transaction with them, I would recommend only speaking with the store owner.

Re: Rickenbacker at Willie's guitar
Not always... It must have been an inconsistent feature. My 1982 620 had a TRC with the model number, of my 1980's 620/12's one had the model number while the other had a TRC that did not...octagon wrote:Wouldn't a 1983 360 have a TRC that said "Model 360" on the bottom? I know the Grovers came in in 1983... Schallers were standard by 1986. All my guitars had Klusons on them.
