Rick-O-Sound Double Jack Assembly? Anyone have one?

Does anyone have a Rick-O-Sound Double Jack Assembly availible?

Rickenbacker is out of stock. I've ordered the Control Harness.

I actually have a Pair from a 1974 4001, but it was redone by the original owner.
I just want to save time in redoing this set and I also want to offer a "clean" Harness with my '72 4001 when it's back together!
It will be back to stock electronically when it goes to ebay!

You could always check with some of the authorized Rick dealers. Many of them carry spare parts.

Speaking of this, could you modify a double jack into a jack/XLR out setup without drilling too much wood?

Without hiding a transformer in the control cavity, you would not have a low impedance balanced output, rendering the mod useless.

Well, it shouldn't be too hard to find a transformer that you could hide in the control cavity. After all, you can buy adapters such as these that do the job:

2 of my basses had former owners who made xlr outputs on my (then their) basses. My 4000 misses the serial number because of this. And the '73 4001 has a very wide hole in the jackplate in which a normal stereo jack wont fit anymore. I am not happy with this. As far as I can see no woodworking was necesary.
