Re: Finally, The Economic Solution....
Funny...that is actually my situation right now.
I'm in college (nearly done!) and work a part time job, I add up the cost of fuel/wear to my vehicle/daily work expenses, and some weeks I'd be better off staying at home! Time to get a new job, I think

Re: Finally, The Economic Solution....
Gas is actually dirt-cheap (in a relative sense) where I live - $2.17 at the gas station down the road. Thanks, Wall Street!
Re: Finally, The Economic Solution....
Where I live, regular gas is $1.99

Price has crashed in the UK too, it's a mere (equivalent of) $6.20 a gallon here today.

So far the best part of moving from Orange County CA to Richmond VA is the price of gas. It's only $1.89 now!

$2.47 yesterday for 91 octane here in SF. Still, it's the first time in at least a year that I've been able to fill the Miata for less than $25.00...blueflamerick wrote:So far the best part of moving from Orange County CA to Richmond VA is the price of gas. It's only $1.89 now!

I recall in the not too distant past freaking out when gas hit two bucks. I sold my Jaguar (fortunately, cause it broke right after that).
Now I'm thrilled too see it inching down to 2 and a half bucks.
