Yeah, I think so.

It doesn't specify if it's shielded. If not, it'll be noisy as heck but it's cheap enough that there's not too much to lose.
My guess is that this is intended for headphones in which case there'd be no need for shielded cable.

I guess that this could be made fairly easily with shielded cable and the correct connectors/plugs?johnhall wrote:It doesn't specify if it's shielded. If not, it'll be noisy as heck but it's cheap enough that there's not too much to lose.

I'll get my techie onto it.
Thanks for the reply.
Re: Ric stereo-rama....
Those are used primarily as headphone jacks. I'd doubt very seriously they are shielded.
Re: Ric stereo-rama....
It'll be noisy but it will work. I've got the twenty foot shielded split cable, for about 35 dollars. I've also got one of those little things but I would save it for emergency.

Here's something you can use, and you won't have to buy any extra cables:

Oh, my mistake. I thought thesekiramdear wrote:It'll be noisy but it will work. I've got the twenty foot shielded split cable, for about 35 dollars. I've also got one of those little things but I would save it for emergency.
were the same as these:
Re: Ric stereo-rama....
Jim, I think one of those splits into two stereo signals and the other splits into left and right monos. He wants the one with two mono jacks with different colored labels.
I got one like the one Kris linked to.

Actually, so did I. I bought the 9 ft. cables. I may wish I had bought shorter ones later on, though.

Re: Ric stereo-rama....
The Sweetwater/Pro Co cable is exactly the right thing. I have one of those down in the studio (used for it's intended function, an insert cable) and it's a good performing, quality cable.
Re: Ric stereo-rama....
Pro Co, another fine Kalamazoo company.
They are in the old Gibson building along with Heritage Guitars. Great bunch of guys that started the company many many years ago.
