Cool little amp, but man, that video is unbelievably boring/lame.

I know but 3 tubes, 5 pots, small transformers, and no reverb it's still about double of what it should be. IMO

Not even close to a Hiwatt. These are made in the Marshall factory, and have new designs and circuitry. I've had my 4 hole DR-504 head and cabinet for over 15 years now, and watched all 3 videos. These amplifiers sound absolutely nothing like a Hiwatt, but more like a Marshall/Vox blend. One of the things that a Hiwatt does not have, is an overbearing midrange. This is part of what keeps them so clean and clear.

There are many better choices for small tube combos out there for a fraction of the cost. These amps, I predict, will never be able to bring more than what you paid for them, as they will probably have no collectability. In fact, it may be substantially less.

He doesn't play very competently, the feel just isn't there. It's not the notes, it's how they're played.

Do parents really name their offspring, "Blues"? And if not, how can a white guy with pink cheeks introduce himself thusly and still keep a straight face?

Any Clues, Blues?

Great amp, still, there is a fuzz/od device being used. I've gassed my head with a power attnuator like the THD Hotplate he was using, but it didn't crunch and fizz like that. Also, if you plug in to the high input of the Bright channel and turn the presence all the way up, you can make dogs howl for miles.

$3200 bucks for the head, flight case, and cabinet, wow, I should have bought a couple more of these when nobody wanted them.

Mitch, are you looking for one, or are you just sharing these videos with us?

It's funny how a guy named "blues" made his claim to fame by being the replacement guitarist in a pop hair metal band from the 80s. He should have changed his name to "Hairspray"
