I have to thank Kenny and Darren for the best jam, to me, anyway. We have never played together and we pulled of a killer version of Won't Get Fooled Again

My hats off to Chris and Shelby, and EVERYONE else who took part in the planning of MARF 2008.

I just wish I would have been there instead of having been in court on Friday & having to return tomorrow. :(

The bass next to the laptop in the last group looks just like my walnut 4001. 8)

I was hoping for a Skype call myself but I guess everyone was having too much fun :( That's OK, folks, I'll just sit here in the dark eating cat food, hoping for a kind face or word to break the crushing boredom of my squalid existence ...  Oh, I'll be OK, don't even give it a thought ...

Hmmm, something's amiss here. I didn't type that post. I think that I was on earlier and must've forgotten to log out. The computer was in the reception area of The Hampton Inn. Anyhoo, I had a great time too!

Did the guy with the '62 Fireglo 4000 ever show?

And who was the guy in the wheelchair?
Greg Alpaugh, I hope I spelled that right! He is another lefty bassist. Sorry you had to miss this one, Paul; this was the best so far of any confluence, plus the catered party tonight had a wonderful host band, Chris Clayton's band, and man, were they fantastic. So was all the jamming/entertainment.

I can't THANK Joey enough for taking 1 full hour out of his day to share the confluence with me!

MY FIRST CONFLUENCE!!!!!!!! Well, almost!

It was SO VERY COOL seeing everyone and all those amazing RICS!

I even met Diane, Chris, Darren, Kris, Tammy, Steve, Jdog, Kenny, Graham, Jeff Scott, and so many others.....what an amazing hour that was. After 3 years of conversing with all of you, it was a blast to see and hear (well, sometimes hear anyway  ) you guys.

I am SO PUMPED for SERF in just a few months. I can see why these confluences can be so addicting. Great people, great Rickenbackers, great music.........well, I missed the food THIS TIME   but what a BLAST.

Janey said my face was lit up like a Christmas tree when I was on that call. She really wished we could have made that trip.

Sorry that you didn't hook up Kira, but SERF will be in ORLANDO (shameless plug....see the SERF thread) and if you can't make it, I'll bring my laptop! 8)

THANK YOU ALL again for taking the time to talk to a laptop and to let me be a part of that fantastic confluence.

HOPE TO SEE YOU AT SERF!
