Hi Everyone,

I'm curious about how hard it is to find an 8 string Rick. I recall they made them up until around 1990 if I'm not mistaken. Are these around, or are they as rare as the 4080s these days? What would they go for $. Thanks

I snagged a beautiful '93 FG for $2225 on eBay in August of '07. Most amazing bass I own. And I have a 4001CS...

That 8-String at MARF sounded GREAT! Like a guitar and a bass playing in unison...a really full and bright sound.
