I'm going to make a separate thread for each model, so look for the new one . . . the 4001!
Re: Model of the week
For clarity and search sake you could change the subject to 4000 ..........bassduke49 wrote:I'm going to make a separate thread for each model, so look for the new one . . . the 4001!

Here's my 68 4000 cleverly maquerading as a 4001S.

Gaaaa!! Stunning fireglo, Scott!
Re: Model of the week
I don't have a 4000 to show off but when we get to the 4002 I'll post pics of my 4002FL.
I used to think it might be unique as well. If I remember correctly there are at least 3
of us on the forum that have 4002FLs, and I believe that they are all walnut. I picked
it up a few years back when I was looking for a 4005, never have found one of those.

This one isn't mine; I did the restoration earlier this year, though. The owner doesn't post, though he does browse from time to time.
My notes say it's a '75; I'm at home, so my records are not with me:

The gold pickguard and TRC look very classy on that perfect fireglo finish.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!
