I don't know if we have any forumites in that area Kira, but it looks like the meteor did put on quite a show!

I didn't see the ball itself, but I did see the sky light up on my way home from work. Very bright green. I thought, "Wow! We're gonna have a heck of a thunderstorm! Wait... It's the end of November. We don't get thunderstorms at the end of November." Then I put it out of my mind until I heard the news reports the next day. I'm in Edmonton - I think about 250 km from where it actually landed.
