Phantom Teardrop XII - dig it!

Post by longhouse »

Here is a fan video of 'Sudden Change' from this Saturday's show.
I know a lot of forumites have expressed interest in these guitars over the years.
Have a look and listen:

post script. I'm the lean guy with the white twelve string.

I can't see it that well (it's my eyes, go figure!), but is it a Brian Jones signature, standard or hollowbody teardrop?

Yes, fine guitars. I've got a white Phantom teardrop solid-body 12-string that I run through a compressor and a VOX AC30H2. As fine a sound as any of the Ricks I've owned.

It's the hollowbody teardrop, as evidenced by the cat's eye type sound hole on the upper half of the body. :D

It also looks like a 3 pickup version. Very cool guitar.

Do you have the groovy mirror pickguard? Good sounding guitar. I had a black one that was a real POS. It would never intonate. I found out that the bridge holes were drilled 1/2 inch too close to the neck. Sold it b4 I could fix it. Glad yours is much better.
