Converter combs get a bad rap here for some reason. I have played a couple and of course, the strings are still there, but they get pulled down rather well on the hollow body models. Of course, this coming from a guy who DOES bend notes on TWELVE strings. So, you know, I guess there are lots of things that aren't for the timid. I say: just sack up and rock! There, I said it!
