Paul is right...I usually charge $200 to pull the frets,fill the slots with white or black celluloid .020 binding (depending on wheather the 'board is light or dark),level sand and buff the fingerboard (although I'd charge a bit more for a finished 'board,like on a RIC)...I've done this MANY times,and you can't even feel where the frets were...I'd switch to some good flatwound strings,and adjust the action and intonation,as well...you just have to adjust to playing right ON the line,instead of behind it,if you're the kind of guy who looks at the neck...and I don't really like the idea of the whole sawdust/epoxy method...too sloppy...
