Happy Birthday Ron Sodano

Post by winston »

This is a Happy Birthday wish to a great friend and long time board member. I hope it's a good one Ron. Your old bass is still in tip top shape and used every day.

All the best

Thank you for all of your birthday wishes, they really mean a lot to me. Unfortunately, I wish that it was under better circumstances; it's been a tough 2 weeks for me and my family. Two weeks ago, I flew back home after spending the previous 3 weeks in Portland, OR with my wife greeting me at the gate with tears in her eyes. She told me that as I was flying home, my mom was rushed to a Philadelphia hospital for emergency surgery to remove a tumor from her brain. So, for the past 2 weeks, I've been driving back and forth from VA to NJ, (my parents live about an hour and 15 minutes from Philadelphia) and I just got back home late this morning. My mom was released from the hospital last Sunday, so I spent most of last week making sure my mom was fine and helping my dad around the house. I found out on Thursday that the tumor was indeed cancerous. M mom is a tough old lady, and I know that she will eventually pull through, but my dad is having a tough time dealing with all this. So, it looks like I might have to head up to NJ again this week to give him a hand.

Anyway, your well wishes have really perked me up. Brian, thank you for starting this thread and being a wonderful friend. I will always treasure that.

Thanks again everybody! :D

Ron,

My thoughts and prayers are with both you and your family, especially your mom at this moment. Here's wishing her a speedy and full recovery.
