As for Steve, he is mixing it up like crazy, working as much solo material in as he can without repeating, so chances are that you'll hear something besides those two famous standards.As for Oliver Wakeman, unless he puts on the silver cape and plays exactly like his dad, people are going to be critical. He is not the animated showman that his father was with Yes and he may be playing it cool by design. Imagine if he tried to act just like Rick, how badly would he be criticized for that! I had no problem with his performance at any of the shows I attended. As for mistakes and miscues, I think they were all guilty of one here and there, but it didn't detract from the shows in general, which were awesome!

Oliver does have big shoes to fill and the critics will always be at his heels. A few years ago I met Matthew Adams, the grandson of Ansel, at the now defunct Ansel Adams Gallery, in Monterey, Ca. He was very nice and we had a nice conversation. He did not take up photography knowing what his lineage would cost him; too bad, but I guess he was correct, in his own way.
