Today I overheard 2 Wal-Mart employees both ladies talking as they worked the customer service counter the younger employee who was handling my request . The other employee, an elderly woman had a pretty bad cough and seemed to be struggling to perform her duties. The younger told her she should be home resting as she is too sick to work. The response from the ill elderly employee was " They wouldn't let me take the day off" The younger said "oh yea, welcome to my world". WTF??? In regards to the Chinese read this.

Now....that is a scary thought. Guess that's what happens when you have a bursting population and increasing wealth.

Then again, in some ways, China already owns the US- I can see why they'd want some property here too.

I'm surprised some foreign entity hasn't just approached a bank and offer to buy all their foreclosures, one shot at a steep discount. I'm sure Chase wouldn't complain after all the property they just picked up in the WAMU deal.
