It is a 3001 but the seller states that it is short scale which it is not. That honor belongs to the model 3000.

I'm looking for another 3001 but 700 is a little high dont you think?

I would think that the 2000 and 3000 series basses are worth more like $400 to $600 ...

but on e-bay who knows ...

And will sellers please get it right. Mani plays a 3000 and not a 3001. One less knob and front loaded jack socket gives it away even if you can't see that the scale length is different. I emailed a guy selling a 3001 on the bay once about it not being "the Mani bass" and his reply was unprintable.

He's the bassist in the UK band Primal Scream, also was a member of the Stone Roses (massive band in the late 80's early 90's)

Hmmm, Mani. Good bassist. Should've stuck with his "jackson Pollocked" 4005 though. looked MUCH cooler....

Mani (Gary Mounfield) rocks, in an English way!

Here are 2 B+W shots of him and his very cool "Jackson Pollock" 4005, in the late '80s:

Another shot of him with his 3000 FG

Note the Bartolini pickup

On tour in Japan with a 3000 FG and a 3000 WHT BT in Feb. 2000.
