This is a common occurrence, especially during the Christmas season. The hub is working at full capacity, 24 hours a day, and the drivers are instructed to stay on the road until their trucks are empty, and this means late deliveries.

Whoever you purchased the guitar from should begin the tracking process--he's the shipper. Stay in touch. He's also (unfortunately) who the insurance settlement (if it comes to that) will be paid to, so you need to track HIM, too.

Good luck. Chances are they will find it in short order.

And watch those homonyms.

How due you know so much about spelling and grammar, Paul?

I wouldn't push the panic button just yet, Jerry. Paul is right. Give it a day or so.

Which sentence?

I think somewhere in Jerry's house is a typewriter with a roll of wrapping paper hanging out of it...

Just kidding, Jerry, sorry; you need to know that you're the Kerouac of this Forum.

Somehow this figures. I once had a package supposedly in Chicago, but later the same day it was returned to my house.

Glad you got it...or you got something anyway :D

Just another shining example of HUA* syndrome.

*Head Up A**.

I ordered some sheet material from a new supplier in Chicago. After three weeks and no stuff, I called the supplier, only to be told that that the size I ordered (36" X 48", which is the only size they said they carried) was something they didn't ever stock, and if I wanted a different size, I could order it then. Three weeks with no word...so I ordered the different size (30" X 40") and told them to RUSH it.

An hour later I was at lunch, and got a call on my cell asking me if I wanted to finalize the original order of the material at the the ORIGINAL size, as they had no record of any order from me.

Huh?

I returned to my office and there was a package from them of the material--in the ORIGINAL SIZE, waiting for me.
