Check out the photo of Billy Hinsche playing his 360/12 Fireglo on the Dean Martin Show in 1964.

Peter,
I'm not going to argue the date of this show, but I'm thinking DD+B didn't hit till '65.
This, I think , is a little later pic of them,
as I recall when I first saw them on TV, Billy had a Fireglo 360-12 roundtop, and Dino had a Gibson EB-3 [2 PU SG style bass]. The doublebound in your pic is a 6 string. My 2 cents worth....

Don: I agree it is a six string and the Fireglo 360/12 he had was a new style as well. The group did hit in 1965 and I am looking in to the date. Well at least I got Dean Martin right!

Billy Hinsche writes today Quote:This is my 6-string fireglo with tremelo bar from circa '67. Photo was taken on the set of the Matt Helm (Dean Martin) movie, "Murderer's Row." So there you have it, a Model 365 and an interesting story to go with it.

A couple more photos of Billy Hinsche with his Rickenbackers have been posted to the Rickenbacker Registration Page today. You can see Dino, Desi and Billy here. Funny they didn't seem that young then.
