My grandfather passed away tonight...

He's been in the hospital since Sunday, his kidneys gave out. He was around 90 years old.

I'm not terribly sad because he passed away, he lived a very long full life, and he made all of ours better, I'm just very upset that I was waiting until tomorrow to go visit him, because of an exam tonight.

I'm sure he would understand, the fact that we all went to school was something he was very proud of us for.

I guess at that age, you can slowly anticipate the inevitable, which does help. Just don't let it affect your finals, I'm sure your grandfather wouldn't want that.

There is no real reason or rhyme to it somtimes, you just have to make the most of every moment with family and friends.
