I'd be surprised if this sale is genuine, looking at the buyer's feedback rating...

Fair play to Olivia,s vintage. It was a fine example of a 4005 . A bass that deserves such a price tag.I was thinking of buying it but Santa would have missed my house (for a few years). So much for the secret, I had a picture of that 4005 on my fridge.

Welcome, Mark! :D I don't even a have a picture of my '67 4005WB on my fridge! :lol: You must have wanted that bass bigtime, eh? :wink:

The example which sold a few weeks ago was listed incorrectly as a '67, when it was actually a much later model - probably 80s - with short inlays and higains.
