Pic's of my Ric's

Post by britinvasion »

Hello again. Being the new kid, I just wanted to post a couple of pics of my 2006 620-12JG , 2007 360-12AFG and my new 2008 370FG.
The fireglo's look better in person, camera flash washed them out a little. Thanks for allowing me to share!

That's a mighty handsome collection you've got there, Frank. Some serious jangle potential for sure. Looks like you're a HiGains type of guy. Thanks for posting the shots.
(Nice amp, too BTW.)

Nice! I like the Vox amp too!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Thanks for all of the kind words - I really do like HiGains, I find them very versatile, but I do want to get a model with toasters at some point.
Those 3 guitars sound great thru my AC30. The 620-12 can really take off if I'm not careful!

Thank you Beatlefreak. I want to take another photo of the 370, that photo doesn't really do it justice. Rick is really doing a nice job on the new fireglos. The 360-12 Amber Fireglo looks pretty much right in this pic, though.

Briefly , I use the Top Boost with the 360-12 , I link the channels with my 370 and I usually use the standard channel with the 620-12 to tame it a bit. For some reason the 620-12 is VERY hot and gets a little too much bite going in the Top boost channel. But I switch all this up depending on what song is being played. I don't use a lot of effects , my board consists of a digital delay pedal , a treble booster ,and a compressor. I suppose I would slightly favor the top-boost channel with effects , but my treble boost (BBE Freq Boost) sounds really good in the standard channel. This pedal was patterned after the old Dallas Rangemaster. I rarely use it with the 12 strings.

Thanks Scotty!- Yours as well!! My jaw dropped when I saw that 330BlueBurst- Gorgeous! I noticed you put a trapeze tailpiece on the 360
in lieu of the "R" tailpiece?
