Even at that, 7.25 seems rather curved... I could've sworn.... ah never mind!

That's because you dont know how to play guitar properly.jingle_jangle wrote:I notice no difference re: frets and finger placement, but my issue is with the dead flat fretboard on my 481. Feels very strange...

Jayme: I am sorry you have chosen to be insensitive and rude in your first two posts to this Forum. We do not accept this behaviour here and cannot allow it to continue. While we may disagree with one another, we respect what others have to say.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: Slanted frets
If you look at the frets, they kinda follow the shape of a hand when you play lead, but with incorrect technique, which I'm guessing most people do (I know I do) so the market was there I guess.

Leo Fender couldn't play guitar, either.stubby wrote:Yea and what does that Jingle Jangle guy know about guitars anyway?!

My first Ric was a 481. I know they have there fans, but it's the only one I never regretted getting rid of. It wasn't the frets, it was the pickups. They were microphonic like Ned Beaty. I'm just getting started......
