Fender Jazz needs work

Post by Aussiericlover »

Can any forumites recommend a bass repairer in Sydney, preferably north west or there abouts. I have a Jazz bass deluxe that needs some work.

Hi Brett! Sorry not to see this earlier - been away....

For generic work, I use Dave Scotland at Turramurra Music. Not too far?

For hardcore work, refins and restorations, Frank Grubisa of Grubisa Guitars is the man: http://www.grubisaguitars.com/

But he's inner West...

Is the problem a broken truss rod or a fret issue?

Brett, Frank is the man. Be prepared to wait a while though as he is usually pretty busy.

You are absolutely correct Brian, but.....
When they are offering a product at 25% less than everyone else is selling for, and then, when i asked them to include freight charges in the total , they drop the price an extra $5 dollars.... that's as good as free for me!

These guys were the first Aussies to sell instruments at a discount to RRP. I've dealt with them since I was a scrawny 17 year old and Rob, the owner, is one of life's true gentlemen. Rarely a Rick in sight there though...
