All this outsourcing to China just isn't turning out as good as everyone planned, huh? I know the company I work for is finding that out, hopefully in time...

I find it ironic that the article contained broken English:
... it will take up to another four months to obtain new tooling and being [sic: be] manufacturing again ...
Maybe the Puget Sound Business Journal is also outsourcing ...

Perhaps it is just a typo and was meant to say:"...begin manufacturing again"?

I'd guess they meant "begin" but like everyone these days, rely on the computer spell checker to get things right...

Yeah but mine shared the stage with SALIVA one time!

......what you don't care.....?

Well, it's still a striking example of Chinese craftsmanship, and you should not infer anything from the fact that I switched over to Ashdown.

That's a big part of how I feel also, yet the ramifications for innocent businesses in the same market may not be good.

Hopefully what emerges from the rubble will be a better business model.

If they want to come to their senses, there is probably still a work force in Tennessee that knows how Ampeg equipment is built...
