I glanced at the register for 4002's today and saw one registered with a 60's manufacture date. Surely an error, right? Or is this one of the myriad of one-offs and prototypes that, to the serious attention-payers, seem to pop up every month?

Yep, gotta be an error - he probably meant 4001. Here's the entry: http://www.rickresource.com/register/vi ... D0%26sn%3D

Yeah, like one of those ebayers with auction text like "This bass by Rickenbacher has two (2) pickups, so it is a 4002."

AAARRRRRGGGHHH that drives me nuts!!!!!!!

While I'm wasting everyone's time, let's talk about that phrase. When people say that, where are they talking about driving them to?

*crickets*

Carry on. back to work.
