See me with my Ricky

Post by mtnckr »

Hi everyone;

I think this is my first comment on this forum. I am from Istanbul/Turkey. After years of dreaming, I recently have got a 4003 jetglo.
I am very happy with it. In this video you will see my band, performing. The bad thing is the tv programmers have no technology to record live. So although we played live, the sound wasn't recorded. Music you will hear is "Neon isiklari" means "Neon Lights" from our ready to release album. We have recorded our debut album but haven't released it yet.

If interested, you can check my band from http://www.myspace.com/neonistanbul

When I was recording the bass lines, my ricky had not arrived me. So the sound doesn't belong to my rick.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello from the other side of the world. I would be happy to hear your comments.

Best;

Metin

Awesome, guys! Very cool video, pardon my ignorance while I say I never heard rock music in Turkish language before. I'd love it if you could give us a translation of the lyrics to English. Thanks for the initiation.

Your bass sounds really great. No translation necessary there :mrgreen:

Thanks guys. We made our production, it was our first experience in producing an album, sometimes we did mistakes during recording process :shock: , so it didn't sound excactly as we want, :oops: but next time it will be better.
It seems I will have great friends here. I started to feel a part of a huge family 8)

Peyote is a kind of indie club which gives bands like mine chance to play their original tunes live. We love to play there. U2 is one of our influences but we should be more spesific to create our original sound maybe.
