Try missing out an a 1997 reissue (with a 3rd pickup) and 3 small chips in the finish for $800 CANADIAN!!!!! That's about $650 American!

Ouch! That would've been a super deal, Nick.

Was this on the Bay or at a store or what? Sorry to hear you missed out, Nick. You could have joined the 1997 reissue club :(

I'm not interested, cos I already got a 1997 reissue

At $650, what's wrong in having a back-up?
Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).

Ignorance is great, but it has its limits. What the heck else am I missing?

Please don't tell me anything else I don't know after I should have known about it. And if you do, please don't provide any details. That just makes it worse.

Thanks and happy holidays, especially to new owners everywhere of Rickenbackers purchased at bargain prices! :D
