Re: RIO 2009
At this time we are not planning another RIO, but you never know, if there is enough interest and we can find a new venue for the party (Slam Jams is out of business), perhaps.

Re: RIO 2009
I would be interested in attending again. It would be great to see the folks I met at the last one and meet any new ones that might attend.
Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).

If it happens again it would be nice to get more Nor'easters involved with the planning!
Re: RIO 2009
I'd be up for RIO 2009. Maybe setting a date early would allow more to plan and be able to attend. There are a lot of us in the mid-west, hopefully Michigan could be better represented this time!

I'd be up for it, too.
Re: RIO 2009
We started discussing an '09 RIO. Let's see how much real interest there is and get some dates (weekends) that the majority of folks can do, say mid to late June or early July, and we'll take it from there. Slam Jams is out of business but I may have a restaurant/club in Chesterland, Ohio that could work very well; the Lemon Antennas did a gig there a couple weeks ago and it would be very suitable for this. Getting a conference room will be trickier this time round if I want to keep it reasonably close to the party venue.

In that last shot, it looks like Graham has a Mohawk!
Re: RIO 2009
Sure does, Dane.......... even though we all know it's a physical impossibility!
If RIO was late June I could maybe drop in on my way to the UK - food for thought........

Bump!!!
Just seeing if there is any interest in this. I'm not commiting, mind you, just curious.
I can barely plan on something 2 days in advance. Yeah, I don't remember the last vacation I took.
