Your Rick Wish List For 2009?

Re: Your Rick Wish List For 2009?
Actually, if we're dreaming here, I'd really like to get a nice, new 4005, but we all know where that'll get me...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I've been dreaming of a Rick 381 style bass guitar for quite some time.ajish4 wrote: I'm really hoping RIC does a new COY 4003FL or some other kind of new bass. SOMETHING 381 or 360 style semi acoustic...

The second guitar from the left is mine (as you can see in the control cavity), and it's getting refinished in a non-greening blue boy finish. It started as a 360v64, and along with the finish, it's getting crushed peril inlays. I can't wait!paologregorio wrote:
2.) The completion and safe arrival of the following WB conversion with CB & bound headstock in JG(far left guitar in photo) 3.) Earn enough $$ to buy another 330 and have the same type of WB conversion done in in a non-greening Blue Boy finish!
Re: Your Rick Wish List For 2009?
Well, if dreams come true I will end up with a 4001V63JG in pristine condition, and a 330/12FG. To dream bigger than that would probably be pointless. As for the 12 string, I figure that the only way to get one of the guitar players in the band to actually play a 12 rather then use chorus with a 6 is to buy it myself. Chorus schmorus. THAT doesn't sound like a 12 string
On second thought. If this is a dream and doesn't need to be practical........I want them all

21 fret 330s and 360s with thinner tops and necks and I would buy a new RIC until then it's used vintage reissues for me

Re: Your Rick Wish List For 2009?
Would quite like own more Burgundy Glo guitars! I would also would like to get my hands on a 4001V63 or 4003 bass and a 360C63, or maybe some vintage stuff - a 450 or something.
As far as RIC changes go, I'm also quite happy to see what they come up with. Their track record of recent changes is pretty damn good IMHO

Some kinda 21-fret 360/12 is all I need in the Rickenbacker department.
Re: Your Rick Wish List For 2009?
Any Rose Morris -- but a 1993 would be ideal!!
The world is made of stories not atoms and every guitar has a story.
