The first half of 2008 (January-May) had to be the worst 5 months of my life...what with bad grades, aggravating everyone here and their mother about a 1997, a girl and losing my jam-partner, Chris, it really sucked, it really did. I didn't know what I was going to do.

By June, when I picked up a copy of "A Quick One" by The Who, everything changed...my life got better. I let the girl go, I started to rock to The Who and everything seemed to get better. And after that, gold just kept flowing: I became happy to be a single man, I made it as a senior in high school, good grades were flowing in, I joined MySpace and Facebook (knowing that I was a senior and I needed a way to keep in touch with my friends after I graduated) and, more recently, I got my dream guitar. And it just keeps getting better for me!

Here's to hope that 2009 will be better than 2008! (And, for the nation's sake, that our economy gets better!)

As a Scottish friend of mine once told me, you're not asking a proper question there.

The proper question is, "What's worn under a kilt?"

And the proper answer is, "Nothing, it's all in perfect working order!"
