Here's one I acquired recently. It's a Jan 88 manufacture date.

It has a much thinner neck than my '07 620, and the pickups are more powerful than the 620's as well.

I like it. :D

Yes Brian, that is a sweet 625. Makes me want to go out and by a bunch of lottery tickets!

Shane, Very nice 610 FG!
Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).

Thanks Chip :D

I purchased a new American Standard Strat in May 88, but as good a guitar as it was, I now wish I had seen a 610 first. The 610 has everything the strat had, but heaps more character, if you know what I mean.

Shane:

Very nice Fg 610... Quite a score in Australia I would think... Not many of them would have made it over there I bet

Hi Brian. :D

Sorry I missed your reply.

Compared to G and F,Ricks are relatively uncommon here, but you occasionally uncover a gem !!!
Personally I've not seen another 610, though I believe our Darren owned a 610/12.

This one had its warranty card, but no dealer name on it. Still, I'd be curious to see where it was originally shipped to.

Cheers

An old thread but thought I would contribute this pic of my 610:

It’s from November, 1996.
Very fun to play. I purchased it from the Music Connection in the late ‘90s.
The amp is a Lectrolab, Sound Projects R100B

Very nice!

We should do a thread on whom among us has bought instruments from Mike Parks.
