I have two of his CD's, Jigsaw and Upside Downside.

I just wish I had his chops as well !!!!

Brilliant player.

Steve, we are having a post-holiday party tonight where the Lemon Antennas and maybe Rare Blend are playing and there will be a bunch of other musicians there, as a group effort all of us are going to tackle this:

I sent you the score so you, too, can play along in spirit! :D

Good luck Jeff...sounds like fun. Seeing all those guys with charts reminded me of a time when I saw The Don Ellis Orchestra. He was playing a quarter tone trumpet with a transducer in the bell, and was using all kinds of electronics including octave doubling. He had a complete Big Band complement including 2 violins, a viola and a cello...all amplified. He also had two guys on trap sets and another on percussion. EVERYONE (including the drummers) were reading off of charts...one of the truly amazing shows I've seen.

If he shows, we have a horn player who does the EW thing! I don't think we will have music stands, at least I have been practicing the song. :D
