Antiques Roadshow Alert!

Most folks on this forum will want to tune in to this week's Antique Roadshow, filmed on location in Palm Springs, CA, to catch a VERY interesting Beatle/Rickenbacker-related item! Something a few folks have heard about, but even fewer have actually seen!

The Palm Springs episodes are airing the next three nights, but tonight (Monday, 1/5), I believe, features the item in question.

I just saw it here in New York. What a great story. It is thr Meet The Beatles album signed when he met the Beatles. Mike was the appraiser. $???,??? +. WOW!

I saw it too without knowing about it. I just happened to have PBS on as background noise when I though I heard a familiar voice. Very cool!

Unfortunately we only get the British version of the show down here! If anyone has a video link to this particular episode, i'd appreciate it. It's amazing on the British show, just how many people have pre-US invasion autographed beatle items.

Well, I had to go to the hospital tonight to visit a friend who was admitted for a few days; unfortunately by the time we got to the room the portion of the Roadshow we wanted to see had passed....I guess I'll try to see it on the 'net.

John, check your local listings; here in Milwaukee, it aired at 7pm and repeats at 11pm. Might do that where you are, too. Great piece.
