New Vox Jaguar

Post by 1965 »

Just picked up this Vox Jaguar a few days ago. I'm really excited because this is the earlier GEM version that doesn't have the black Jaguar plate on front, not a big fan of that. It has the original Z legs, but no crosspieces. Also missing the Vox logo and it has a broken case handle. The good news though, is that all the replacement parts are coming tomorrow via NCM. More photos to come when I get this guy all put together.

Very cool, Wes. Would love to see you make a Youtube video once it's all up and running.

Great Wes!

I am very curious to hear how these sound- glad to see Vox reissue something cool like that.

The best thing is that I got it for only $350! It's in great condish too. The handle actually broke when we were carrying it to my car right after I bought it, figures.

Damn, what a deal! Craigslist?

Broken handle isn't so bad- for the price paid.

PS...I'm a huge dummy. When I posted earlier, I thought you were saying it was NEW Jaguar- as in Vox had reissued it, which seemed odd to me.
Plus, it looks in great shape, so I was fooled.

It was CL. Hmm, yesterday FedEx said the package would be here today, now they're saying next tuesday. Weird.

Somebody please hand me some Kleenex. I'm drooling. Where on earth did you steal that Jag, Wes? (Legally, of course.) Peace, out.....Goofyfoot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

Maybe it was on the truck that was discussed on this thread....
