Little Circles?

Sorry I'm such a doofus.

When I look at a list of topics I see a column of circles on the left of the page. Some of those circles are sort of scrolling, some are red and some are blue, some even have little red stars inside too

What is that all about?

Blue topics only have a couple posts, red have more, scrolling red mean that it's a hot topic that has a lot of posts. The ones with arrows mean the thread was moved.

BTW, the little 'star' represents a topic where you have made a post.

Red = new posts have been added to the thread since your last visit.
Blue = no new posts since your last visit.
Scrolling = more than twenty five (i guess) replies.

And, in case you didn't know, clicking on the little orangeish square before the thread topic will take you to the first unread post in the topic.
