There was a cover song competition on another site for the song "Nowhere Man". Here's my entry:

Sounds great, Mark!
Re: Nowhere Man
Fine job, Mark!
Re: Nowhere Man
Mark,
That is a fanatastic version. I loved it.

Re: Nowhere Man
Thanks everyone!
Still need to tweak a few things...need more variation on the drum track, must mess with the EQ and compression settings, re-sing a few pitchy vocals. The bassline is going to be re-done by a "gunslinger" I know who can nail the baffling part played by Macca...only he'll be using a Hofner...wish I could lend him my 4001, but he lives in another state. But that's OK, Paulie always played it live with the Hofner.
Appreciate the kind words!

Re: Nowhere Man
Very well done.
What are you using (models) for guitars / amps? Great tone!
Peace.

Re: Nowhere Man
Hi Richard. I was miking an Alvarez Yairi acoustic and playing a Reissue 57 Stratocaster through a Vox ad50vt set to model a Vox AC-15. And of course the Burgundyglo 72 Rickenbacker 4001, direct in.
Thanks!
Mark
Thanks!

Re: Nowhere Man
Another great job on one of my favorite Beatle tunes, Mark. 'Nowhere Man' was the song that illicited my Beatles epiphany when I was a kid. Those vocal harmonies are truly the stuff that legends are made of. Nice job on the production, too. I like that you put the vocals in the middle of the stereo spectrum, instead of off to one side. I'm surprised to hear that the guitar WASN'T a Rick. Did George us a Rick for the original?
