Alas, South Florida is a no-mans land for new RIckenbacker's.

Sam Ash is probably your best shot for new....there are two in Miami...

Sam Ash Music - Miami 52
Dolphin Mall
Miami, FL 33010
(786) 331-9688

and...

Sam Ash Music - Miami 33
5360 NW 167 Street
Miami, FL 33014
(305) 628-3510

Here is the dealer list for Florida...

Let me know if I can help!
What dates are you planning on being here Frode?

Cool. I will try my best to be there. We are staying near west palm beach. How long time with a car do you think? What kind of arrangments is this? I red some of the links you posted and it sounded like a convention with private sellers?

Congrats, Frode!

I hope you find the bass you're looking for! Should be nice weather there in Miami at that time.

Let me know if you're connecting through Chicago. Maybe I'll stop by O'hare and buy you a beer!

Frode, it is a gathering of forumites FROM THIS FORUM. You may quite possibly find a used RIC for sale there. Otherwise, you are in a better position to find a new RIC with the dealers in Northern Florida. There are a number of other forumites who live in the Tampa area who might be able to help.

I live about a 30 minute drive NORTH of West Palm Beach, that would be about a 2 hour ride to Orlando for you. There are a LOT guitar stores in the Orlando & Tampa area, MUCH more than in West Palm or Miami but finding a new 4003 in stock is going to be a challenge. A phone call to the local dealers might be of help.

Just let me know if I can help!

There will be a few forumites coming back to my home for a few days after the forum, you are more than welcome! DINNER at my house!

I'm very glad to hear you'll be joining us, Frode. Here is the link to the hotel, where the confluence is, and everyone is staying there. Mention "South East Rickenbacker Fest" and you'll get the group rate.

I really hope to be able to come Sunday if everything goes ok. Only thing left is to convince my wife. She doesn't quite understand my interests

Saturday night will really be the thing to not miss... make it if you can. Plenty of non-guitarist spouses attend and always have a great time!

Good looking out Tony!!! It's only January and I'm already up to my eyeballs in tax returns. Sheesh, I'm losin' it.
