Way to go!!!

I also acquired my '08 FG from Russ....I'll let others who've seen it comment, but suffice to say I couldn't be happier with it!

Congrats, Jack! You have probably talked to my wife Cindy at some point who's the business manager at Classic Axe. I tell you, it is one of the nicest fireglos that I have seen since Russ Hansen's FG (Hi Russ! :D ). To top it off, it has some bee-u-tiful flamed maple on the front and back of the bass. With the full length inlays and walnut wings on the headstock, it is a killer bass. I remember I was supposed to take some pictures of it to show it off out here, but with my mother being sick and travelling back and forth to NJ the last several weks, I never got a chance to do it. When you get it, pics are a must!!! Once again, congrats on a great score!

Welcome to the forum, Fireglo IMHO is the best finish for a ric bass, although I have a Mapleglo My next one will certainly be Fireglo. Enjoy your new ric

and once again welcome :D

Joey/Ron, Thanks much for your help..............I am really looking forward to receiving this bass. Could be as early as tomorrow. Will post pictures later in the week.

Ron, I do hope your mother is doing well. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.

And, I have traded e-mails with Cindy. She and the folks a Classic couldn't have been nicer to deal with.......absolutely seamless. They will be the go-to folks for future purchases. Maybe a JetGlo (Jeffrey; yes, I noted your comment) 325 sometime in the future.............but not today. Gotta let the heat die down............and maybe get a job (or not).

Stay tuned............and thanks again to all.

I've been trying to embed the pics directly on this post the past couple of days and, for various file size reasons, was unable to do so (must be operator error). Anyway.............here they are (photo bucket links). Let me know if the links actually work.

Russ Craig told me when I ordered this guitar that it had unique flaming in the wood so I have tried to capture that in the close ups. I haven't seen that many Jetglos close up, so I'll just say that I think it is a beautiful piece of maple. I hope the pictures do it justice..........it looks and sounds great.
