Jeffrey, thanks for reminding me why Deep Space 9 was the worst of the Star Trek spin offs.

Sheeesh, jps. How long did it take for you to write all of these rules?!? YOU rule, brah! Peace, out.....Goofyfoot.jps wrote:Here is something to live by:
Rule 001 » Once you have their money, you never give it back.
Rule 002 » The best deal is the one that brings the most profit.
Rule 003 » Never spend more for an acquisition than you have to
................
Rule 285 » No good deed ever goes unpunished.
Rule 286 » When Morn leaves, it's all over. (Quark made this rule up)
Rule 299 » Whenever you exploit someone, it never hurts to thank them. That way, it's easier to exploit them the next time. (Neelix made this rule up)
The Unwritten Rule » When no appropriate Rule applies, make one up!
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

Same here, I never got into it. Luckily, Babylon 5 was there to save the day!aceonbass wrote:Jeffrey, thanks for reminding me why Deep Space 9 was the worst of the Star Trek spin offs.

Actually, Deep space 9 was my favorite StarTrek (I have them all on DVDs and watched them without missing any episode)aceonbass wrote:Jeffrey, thanks for reminding me why Deep Space 9 was the worst of the Star Trek spin offs.
It takes some time but after the 3rd season DS9 is a rollercoaster!
Right next to it is Voyager, then TNG and then Enterprise.
My apologies to the old folks - but I didn't like the original series too much
So long and thanks for all the fish!

Frank, DS9 was pretty forgetable, but there was one pretty cool episode where they went back in time to "The Trouble With Tribbles episode. They seamlessly intermixed a couple of DS9 characters with the original characters in a couple scenes. When Wharf saw the Klingons as they were depicted back then, he grimaced and said they were some genetic throwbacks. Too funny.

Actually it was "Enterprise" then DS9aceonbass wrote:Jeffrey, thanks for reminding me why Deep Space 9 was the worst of the Star Trek spin offs.
Re: Has the "economy" affected your new Rick plans
At least Enterprise had Jolene Blalock as sub commander T'Pol, a major hottie.
Re: Has the "economy" affected your new Rick plans
I thought Enterprise got quite good going into the third season.

You know, I watched the original series when it was, well, original. I loved it! Used to know all the titles, plots, etc. I guess I was a Trekkie back before it was so popular. Anyway, since the new versions have come out, the old ones seem pretty ridiculous. I can hardly even stand to watch them anymore...jps wrote:gibsonlp wrote:My apologies to the old folks - but I didn't like the original series too much![]()
