Why wait, head over to your nearest Dr. Z dealer and check one or five out! My closest is Heights Guitars.

I have a couple of friends that have Dr. Z's Carmen Ghias; nothing but a volume knob and and one tone knob. One of them, in addition to the Carmen Ghia, also has a Maz Sr., a Mini Z, and his newest amp is a EZG-50s. Needless to say, he's a fan of Dr. Z amps.

However, last year when compared a Maz Jr to a Victoria Victoriette, I bought the Victoriette, which I'm very happy with.

Perhaps that is because you were looking for something more Fendery than Voxy.

Thats why I stayed with 50 watts. But even for Hiwatt, that's pretty loud! My ears just kind of whistle.

I'd love to test drive, but window shopping can be a dangerous thing, as I might end up taking one home!

The KT-45 being "Rickenbacker friendly" is an old tagline; not that it's necessarily wrong. But IMO, the best Dr. Z match for a Rickenbacker these days is the Stang Ray. I've got one of the early ones (when the amp was still called Stingray)... and it's niiiiiiiice. 8)

Sounds good: Dr. Z....

but, I want one of these:

http://www.trilliumamps.com/

Simplicity: Volume - Treble - Bass. I'd love to hear Ric through these! Follow "The Cabinetry" menu for Archetypes - these are works of art, with a price to match, but , WOW! There are lower cost cabinetry options.

Great Sound! Anyone have a Trillium

There a sound and video clips.

GAS

Peace.

bass - guitar - keyboards

Tech 21 - Vox - Marshall - Trace Elliot - Bose
Rickenbacker - Epiphone - Steinberger - Ibanez

I happen to have a MAZ 18 Jr. Its one of the earlier ones with chicken head knobs and celestion speakers. I live on the east side of Phoenix , and would be happy to stop by and let someone try it out.
I love it, but I'm a bedroom player who mistakenly thought that 18 watts would be ok  . Needless to say my princeton reverb gets the duty's more often than not.
Just drop me a message. I'm laid off so I have a fairly open schedule.
