If you have need for just the bridge to go with a tailpiece you get in the future, I have a Rath version of the bridge here that I have never used.

Hmm, I may be interested in that. I was actually thinking about making my own, with a few interesting ideas I have for improving adjustability, etc., but having one to get going might be nice too.

And Paul, I am interested in that scratched tailpiece you've got, I sent you a PM just in case you didn't check your messages.

And, I saw that RIC shipped another 4003MG to my dealer today, so, my new Rick is definitely on it's way! :D :D :D
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Oh, definitely! It's only been on order since March 2007, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!

Then, the mods begin...

That's the donor for the BT mods and possibly turning into a 5-string! It may well indeed end up with CB, and will definitely get black binding. I sure wish I could have ordered it that way, but, ah well...

I've already got a decent '76 Azureglo 4001, a fantastic '84 Mapleglo 4003, but I've always wanted a 5-string 4003 (I really like the binding). And my favorite is Mapleglo with black binding and hardware. I most certainly will not do this to my '84 4003 even though it has the most wonderful maple I've ever seen, that would be sacrilege! But a brand spanking new one? Well, what can I say, at least it's not a classic yet even though it's gone up in value a whole lot since I ordered it...
