How do I fast forward to Monday?

Well, no FG 4003 for me, at least not the one I drove down to see. The neck on it was just too chunky for me, although it was fresh from the factory with an 09 SN. So much for the "slim neck profile" theory! However, the trip was far from wasted. I tried out two slim-necked Midnight Blues and drove home with one of them.

beauty! congrats,love the new inlays...it looks esp nice with the blue,and the white binding/plastic.....so was this bass also an '09? if all of these late-period basses have been made with computerized automated lathe working,i am surprised you would find differences in the neck sizes....
