The definative way to string up a Rickenbacker 12

OK on the RRF and Emma decided to enhance my lugs.Its at this time i need to do something constructive. :twisted:

Ok time for a restring on the 620/12 im using.Ok folks ive taken off all the strings and cleaned down with bleach,shoe polish and a stiff brush.(im into detail and boot polish is great on the frets. :idea: Paul W gave the idea but told me not to tell anyone so dont use it unless he tells ya) :twisted:

Ok this restring is boring i need a chillax. Dont overdo its a 12 for goodness sake! I recommend a good quaity Rum `n` coke

Ok the jaffa cakes are working a treat and the guitar is given a good clean from top to tail

OK i like to take off all the strings and give it all a clean im not the one at a time kind of guy.

Good thing you showed the bottle of Rum, Scotty, initially I thought you were drinking from that bottle of bleach. (Then again, who's to say you didn't add a jigger). :D

next time scotty dont use a stiff brush. a wire brush works the best to get that grime off :wink:

you could always fill the bathtub with 3 gallons of water 4 gallons of bleach and 2 gallons of gas or petro in your neck of the woods mix it all up and let the 620 soak for about 24 hours that should do the trick :twisted:
