4005LS Lightshow head count
Since there's only a few existing examples around, I was wondering if we could narrow down who has 'em?

I have the rest... (I wish!)

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Kenny, I'd like to know who has at least one that can be photographically documented for my book. I'd appreciate it if you could share info if/when you get it.

For those scratching their heads, the Light Show 4005 bass is arguably the rarest of "production" basses (not prototypes or special-order one-offs) with reportedly only five made. Well, let me think, there were reportedly only 2 leftie 4005s made . . . . Anyware, very very rare. I know one is in Japan (likely the one in most photographs), but the rest . . . ?

Re: 4005LS Lightshow head count
Figures John entwhistle would have procured and added a Lightshow to his collection of which I've heard stories of.
And figures there would be some In Japan, where collectibles of all sorts are placed in hyperbolic chambers never to be played, never to be funked-up.
Jeeesh I hate that.
Do you think there may be one in Santa Ana? Two fellows came up to me at NAMM, they ahd "RIC" badges on- They told me as we talked that they were not employees, but friends of John Hall. As we spoke, and I blabberd about at that time my ONLY Ric, the Laredo, they mentioned something about Mr. Halls' collection being INSANE. so ya think?
Just for giggles, what would one of those sell for, if MINT?
