Cheyenne production spurt
I know the RIC "recently shipped" feature states: "Does not show quantity, only models shipped. Multiple listings for same model means
additional shipments for that item have been made," but I think if a particular dealer suddenly shows four Cheyenne II Mapleglo on the individual-dealer inventory that they received four. At any rate, I looked at all the dealership mentions on the "recently shipped" Cheyenne II page and counted 91 basses in this recent production spurt (two dealerships are duplicated with the exact same shipping list - two Rhodes Music and two Wildwood Music, so I didn't count the duplicates). The finish breakdown of the ones listed is:
22 Mapleglo
21 Trans Red
11 Trans Blue
11 Trans Green
8 Fireglo
7 Amber Fireglo
6 BlueBurst
3 Midnight Blue
2 Jetglo
There haven't been any additions in a few days. Maybe the run is done?

That's a decent passel though.

Yeah, I guess a "passel" more than a "spurt."

Re: Cheyenne production spurt
90-some instruments for a Hungry World....How long are they done for now, then?
Re: Cheyenne production spurt
Not sure about the whole 4004Cii "run", but Ben did mention that the LAST Blueburst was in the setup stage....I'm still waiting for for Mike Parks' call, so it appears they are done at least...not sure about any of the other colors.
I wonder just how many were shipped last August. I remember about 7 Blueburst, but I don't remember if there were any other colors shipped at that time.

No, just as it says, it means they received four SHIPMENTS- could be a SHIPMENT for one unit or a hundred.bassduke49 wrote:I know the RIC "recently shipped" feature states: "Does not show quantity, only models shipped. Multiple listings for same model means

In fact, several hundred 4004's have been produced and shipped in the past few weeks, but now the cycle has moved on to 4003 basses, followed by mandolins, 330's, then 381's.

Great, John, thanks! Did that run fulfill all outstanding orders for the 4004Cii, or do you still have more orders waiting? Don't need specifics, just curious. I'm pickled tink with my BBR Cii, by the way.

Re: Cheyenne production spurt
I hope many of these Cii basses will soon be added to the register with pictures.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!
Re: Cheyenne production spurt
If case anyone's interested, one of my local dealers has two Cheyenne's available, a Trans Red and a Jetglo.

When the production run was scheduled, it did account for all outstanding orders for the 4004 series. However, between the beginning of production and the time of shipment, about 20 more were sold, so there's a few outstanding now.bassduke49 wrote:Great, John, thanks! As it should be.johnhall wrote: but now the cycle has moved on to 4003 basses,...
Re: Cheyenne production spurt
Is this typical for the 4004 series or does it indicate an increase in demand?johnhall wrote:However, between the beginning of production and the time of shipment, about 20 more were sold, so there's a few outstanding now.
