That's the one, Richard! I have the DVD of TAPFS live in Liverpool and Brian and I watched it when he was over here in '07.

BTW..... did you listen to 'Breathe'?

Oh yeah..... sure, Jeff!! I'll just jump on a plane now if that's OK with you?

Unfortunately at the time there was just me, Jeff. My band's interested in throwing a bit of PF into the mix - hence my having a crack at Breathe. Could be a nice opener to the second bracket......... before we go crazy with our 'wacky' stuff!!

We open our second set with it and then we go into Won't Get Fooled Again.

Not to hijack your thread too much Aitch, but listening to you doing the Floyd and being extremely bored inspired me to do one of my own. David Gilmour was probably the first guitar player I ever idolized and I knew most of his parts to-a-tee.

Here's me doing the solo from "Money", using a backing track from gilmourish.com, and three different guitars - a '59 330 Capri, an '06 Classic Player's 60's Strat, and an Epiphone Dot w/ a Duncan Seth Lover pickup. All bridge pickups, done with some ****** Garageband tone presets. Can you guess which is which? :D

The lad fancies himself a poet!

(Edit: I forgot to trim the track, so it goes on 'till the end after the solos are done. Sorry. )

Strat/Capri/Epi would be my guess. Nicely done too John. :D

No hijacking at all, John. The thread title is 'Jamming with Pink Floyd' and I'm pleased that you have thrown your hat into the ring - as others hopefully will.

I hope the boredom wasn't a result of my take on "Breathe"!!

Great work on "Money", mate. If I could play lead like that (in fact if I could play lead at all) I would be stoked!! Chords are about as much as I can handle....

I can't guess which is which......... each time I listen to it I lose my concentration!! :D :D

Aitch, I am trying again to download it.... spent more than an hour and four fizzeled attempts yesterday and ending up control-alt-deleting my computer, because it was "stuck".[img] :(

I have to figure it out... I can't very well call the I.T. techies here at the office and say "please fix the Floyd Jam downloads" on company time.... [img]

It played fine for me, and my computer freezes on a regular basis. Great sound there, John!

Hmmmm..... do I sit out "Time" or have a crack at that too? Maybe some deft audio cutting and pasting, Rich.

Actually, comparing my take to the original again, there's a heck of a lot of subtle stuff in the original that I'm just blasting through. Not that I'm really trying to do an imitation - it's just my take. Hopefully if and when we play it live ourselves there won't be any finicks in the 'assembled masses.' You know, the 2 or 3 guys, their ladies, the local drunk and a couple of stray muts.
