REMEMBER:

You must put "The Box" in the freezer for 72 hours, and then open it slowly, using ONLY A BOWIE KNIFE!
This part is essential so that the pickguard (assuming it's not a Laredo or Cheyenne) will take on the appropriate
patina with age.

I personally received my FireGLO 4003 about a week or so ago.
I have not opened the box, I have not seen or played the instrument.
I'm gonna make DAMN SURE that I do this Rickenbacker Bass-fan stuff RIGHT!
...I can't wait to find out if it sounds any good!

Oh, maybe it was that call from John Hall telling me that they've finished the first prototype for my signature model 4003CJ/5!
Mmm, I don't even think Mr. Hall has my number (if he did, he probably burned the slip of paper before throwing it away, observing all fire restrictions and air quality procedures, of course). And, even though I know he's heard of this particular model, I seem to recall his comments involved something about dreams and laughing supermodels...
