At the risk of starting another "favorite string" thread...
Has anyone else tried TI's Infeld line of "Superalloy" roundwounds? I found them to be a huge improvement over the Bass Boomers I used for years on my 4001. The stock Ric strings on the 4003 I recently bought just didn't have enough guts for me, so I swapped them out for the Infelds and the difference is again marked - instant guts!

How's the tension - is it typical TI light or a little firmer?

The Infelds (45-65-80-105) are definitely a high tension string at about 180lbs total tension - just slightly lower than the stainless TI Powerbass, which were a bit too harsh for me. It's great to be able to compare these tensions - wish all string makers published those specs...
