I try to avoid looking at listings like that because drool can ruin a keyboard.

It does not seem to have as much flame as some of the ones that have been posted here but it is still very nice. If I was a strictly a bass player I would be after that one.

Laredos typically have much less figuring than Cii's. This certainly has nice character.....I may just see how the bidding goes.

Brian is right, the Laredo have grain and a little figuring, whereas the Cheyenne have the flames.

I'm interested to see how what the selling price will be, not that I'm in the market for it or anything. How does that single wire mod mentioned in the add work?

Ryan, not a clue about the wire mod. Scott, the bass came with RIC roundwounds, the seller changed to the D'Addarios.

There's an add on ebay (or was a couple of days ago) for a MG Cii that the seller states has D'Addarios that are standard on all RIC basses now. I didn't think that was true, but didn't think to look at the ball ends on my Cii.

The wire mod just uses the passive tone pot to cut one of the coils on the neck 'bucker... it's a mod BA suggested to Dan.

Wait a minute says the single coil junky ! What is this mod ? One wire from the pickup lead to the tone pot....where on the tone pot ? I would be in heaven with this !
